Former major leaguer and ESPN broadcaster John Kruk missed Sunday night's broadcast due to dehydration, according to an ESPN spokesman.

Kruk was "a little under the weather," broadcast partner Dan Schulman said during the opening of ESPN's Dodgers-Boston Red Sox broadcast Sunday, and ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said Kruk left the booth feeling dizzy and was subsequently diagnosed with dehydration.

Kruk, 52, was a lifetime .300 hitter in his 10-year major league career. He was taken from the Dodger Stadium press box on a stretcher, according to the Boston Globe.
