Columbia, MO (KSDK) - A 20-year-old quarterback on the University of Missouri football team was arrested early Tuesday morning for leaving the scene of an accident, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said.
According to a report on the sheriff's department website, Corbin Berkstresser was arrested shortly after 3:30 a.m. The location of his arrest, as well as the circumstances surrounding the accident, has yet to be made public.
Corbin Berkstresser was released from jail after posting a $4,500 bond.
Berkstresser had been working with the first-string offense in spring practices after the starter, James Franklin, injured his shoulder in March.
