New York, NY (Sports Network) - The announcement of the Football Championship Subdivision portion of the 2012 class for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame will occur May 22.

The announcement of the Divisional class - FCS, Divisions II and III and the NAIA - will occur one week after Tuesday's announcement that 14 players from the Football Bowl Subdivision will be enshrined later this year.

Thirty-eight former players from FCS (formerly Division I-AA) schools are part of the 2012 ballot. Included are former Walter Payton Award winners Archie Amerson of Northern Arizona (1996) and Michael Payton of Marshall (1992).

This year's College Football Hall of Fame enshrinement festival will be held July 20-21 in South Bend, Ind.
