New York, NY (Sports Network) - Talib Zanna recorded a double-double with 18
points and 11 rebounds, as the Pittsburgh Panthers handled the Delaware Blue
Hens, 85-59, in the consolation game of the NIT Season Tip-Off.
Lamar Patterson added 16 points and nine boards for the Panthers (5-1), who
lost to Michigan on Wednesday. Tray Woodall and Steven Adams tallied 13 points
apiece.
Devon Saddler had 28 points and five rebounds for the Blue Hens (2-3), who
fell to Kansas State on Wednesday. Kyle Anderson donated 10 points.
Delaware dropped to 0-10 all-time against Big East opponents.
Pittsburgh started the game on a 20-4 run and never looked back. The margin
reached 34-13 on Zanna's layup with about minutes left. It was a 41-21 game at
the half.
