Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Jordan Fouse recorded a double-double with 13
points and 11 rebounds as the Green Bay Phoenix cruised by the Loyola-Chicago
Ramblers, 58-45, in Horizon League play at the Resch Center.
Fouse also swiped seven steals in the Green Bay (7-9, 1-2 Horizon) victory.
Keifer Sykes tallied 11 points and nine rebounds, while Brennan Cougill
chipped in 10 points off the bench as the Phoenix snapped a two-game losing
streak.
For the Ramblers (10-5, 1-2), Devon Turk scored 11 points. He was the only
player in double-figures for Loyola however, as it lost its second straight
game.
Green Bay was 11-of-24 from the floor in the first half, including 4-of-8 from
long range, while limiting the visitors to a mere 5-of-26 from the field en
route to a 28-12 advantage at the half.
The Ramblers improved to 41.9 percent from the field in the second half, but
it wasn't enough to overcome the Phoenix.
Green Bay, which lead the game wire-to-wire, outscored Loyola in the paint,
30-20, and scored 18 points off of 18 Ramblers' turnovers.
