Harrisonburg, VA (Sports Network) - The George Mason Patriots earned the
season sweep of the James Madison Dukes with a 74-63 decision thanks to a

matchup between Virginia rivals at the JMU Convocation Center.
Wright scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while going 11-of-12 from the
free-throw line for the Patriots (13-9, 6-4 CAA), who dug out of a two-game
slump and have now won nine consecutive meetings against the Dukes. Jonathan
Arledge added 19 points and six rebounds while Bryon Allen dished out a game-
high seven assists.
Devon Moore led all scorers with 25 points for James Madison (13-11, 7-4),
which saw its four game winning streak come to an end. Rayshawn Goins added 13
points and nine rebounds.
The Dukes trailed 32-27 at halftime after shooting just 36.0 percent from the
field in the first half.
In the second half, the Patriots pulled away even more by shooting 52.0
percent from the floor and to outscore JMU, 42-36.
The Dukes shot just above 40.0 percent from the field while the Patriots shot
an even 49.0 percent. The Patriots took advantage of their trips to the
charity stripe by going 23-of-26, while the Dukes converted only 17 of their
28 free-throw attempts.
