Somalian soccer player shines at SLU

Normally, the SLU program recruits from all over the country, but this season, they feature a player from across the world.

ST. LOUIS - The Billikens soccer team spent the weekend in North Carolina, where they beat number 5 Wake Forest 1-0 Friday and lost Sunday to the Tar Heels 3-0.

Some may have the skills of Saadiq Muhammad, but nobody has his story.

Muhammad learned English, his fourth language, by watching soccer games on TV and writing down coaches' speeches and players' comments.
