Can Tarasenko keep the Blues on his back?

(KSDK Sports) -- Tonight in downtown St. Louis, The St. Louis Blues continue their best-of-seven battle with the Chicago Blackhawks. We asked three of our Blues insiders, Mike Poepping and Jeff Ponder of our St. Louis Blues Face Off Show, and noted NHL writer Kevin Allen of USA Today, to comment on what some of the Blues players need to do tonight to be difference makers.

Tarasenko has been the difference maker so far for the Blues
Ponder: This 22-year old has been the star of the series thus far for the Blues. If he can continue his torrid pace Friday night, it will be celebration time in St. Louis after the final buzzer sounds.

Poepping: "Frank" has been the source of most of the team's offense in this series, and was a welcome return. he adds grit, finesse, and amazing play-making abilities to the roster, and needs his line-mates to pick up the play around him to support all he's doing on the ice.

Allen: In every playoff series there's a player who rises up and with David Backes out, Tarasenko has been the guy for the Blues. He's been a consistant goal scorer and appears to have the freshest legs on the team, and he needs to continue that. The Blues need another goal out him.
