Blind runner won't let anything get her off track

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) – Running the 400 meters is one of the most difficult things to do in track, but at Ladue High School, there's a young lady who, after what she's overcome, isn't going to let a little bit of running bother her.

Annie Donnell is blind. And she's not asking for sympathy.

She runs the 400 meters for Ladue High School. Her running partner, Allison Morley, helps her on the turns.

She's not just an athlete. She has a near 4.0 in honors classes at Ladue. She says being blind since birth isn't going to deprive her from an enriching high school experience.

In addition to sports and schools, she sings for the St. Louis Children's Choir.
