One-armed SLUH student hits halfcourt shot, donates winnings

ST. LOUIS (FOR THE WIN) - Max Bredenkoetter, a student at St. Louis University High School, had the chance to make a halfcourt shot for $100 during halftime of his school's game against Christian Brothers last month.

In addition to the matchup being a great rivalry, it was also St. Louis (Mo.) University High School's Coaches for Cancer "Paint it Pink" game, to raise awareness and money for cancer research which is why there's a man in a pink suit in this YouTube (we assume).

The great news: Bredenkoetter, who has one arm, fought all of the odds and hit it!

The even heartwarming news: He donated all the money to cancer research.
