Synopsis: This matchup serves as a metaphor for changing times, reuniting teams that no longer share a conference in a bowl no longer played at its namesake venue. All that Bob Dylan-esque reflection aside, however, this contest could provide plenty of fireworks if the offenses are clicking. There was nothing wrong with the Missouri attack in its Southeastern Conference title-game loss to Auburn. QB James Franklin has recovered from a midseason shoulder injury, and he has a dazzling array of weapons at his disposal. TB Henry Josey paces the ground game, and WRs Dorial Green-Beckham and L'Damian Washington could break loose at any time via the pass. But Franklin must beware of Cowboys CB Justin Gilbert, who has the speed to take errant throws the distance the other way. Oklahoma State is also coming off a season-ending loss that kept it from claiming its conference crown, but QB Clint Chelf and TB Desmond Roland are more than capable of keeping pace on the scoreboard. But they'll have to avoid hard-hitting Tigers DEs Michael Sam and Kony Ealy.
