Blues back on ice for optional skate

HAZELWOOD, Mo. – A little over 12 hours after the longest playoff overtime game in St. Louis Blues history the team was back on the ice.

Who needs sleep when you're riding on that win over the Chicago Blackhawks in the third overtime just before midnight?

On Friday, the team got back on the ice at their practice rink at St. Louis Mills.

Thursday night's win gives the Blues a 1-0 lead over last year's Stanley Cup champions.

The Blues face the Blackhawks in Game 2 Saturday at 2 p.m. You can watch the game on NewsChannel 5.
