Blues look to regain winning touch in Buffalo

(KSDK Sports) -- The Blues enter tomorrow'

s matchup having won back-to-back games against the Sabres including a 4-2 victory in their last meeting on Jan. 21, 2012. Since 1999, the Blues are 12-2-0 overall vs. Buffalo including a 7-1-0 mark on the road.

Along with Alexander Steen, who has 18 points in his last 14 games, Kevin Shattenkirk has been one of the Blues' hottest players of late. The New Rochelle, New York native has points in 10 of his last 12 games (since Oct. 25), while his 10 assists over that stretch are tied for the league-lead with San Jose's Joe Thornton.

Tomorrow night will mark Barret Jackman's 663rd game as a Blue moving him into sole possession of 4th on the franchise list, while David Backes (699) is one minor shy of becoming the 12th player in club history to reach the 700 PIM plateau.
