ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A St. Louis native will sport the Blue Note next season.
Forward Paul Stastny signed a four-year contract with the St. Louis Blues, President and GM Doug Armstrong said. Stastny previously played for the Colorado Avalanche.
He is also the son of former Blues player and Hall-of-Famer Peter Stastny as well as the brother of former player Yan Stastny.
Last season, Paul Stastny racked up 25 goals and 35 assists and tied for the team lead of 10 points in seven postseason games.
He's played on Team USA five times, including the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi where he scored two goals.
With his signing, Peter and Paul will be the fifth father-son combo to wear the Blue Note.
