Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres have activated defenseman Mike Weber off injured reserve.
Weber hasn't played since Oct. 25 because of a thumb injury. He has appeared in 11 games this season and has yet to record a point.
The Sabres assigned defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen and forward Johan Larsson to their American Hockey League affiliate in Rochester and also sent forward Mikhail Grigorenko to Rochester on a conditioning assignment.
In addition, rookie defenseman Nikita Zadorov was assigned back to his junior team, London of the Ontario Hockey League. The 18-year-old Russian was taken with the second of Buffalo's two first-round picks in the June draft and notched a goal in seven games with the Sabres.
