Do you have an awesome piece of Blues history? Well, the St. Louis Public Library is looking for memorabilia for an exhibit commemorating the half-century of hockey history in our city.
The Public Library(SLPL) partnered with the St. Louis Blues to create "50 Years of Blood, Sweat and Cheers — A Tribute to the St. Louis Blues and their Fans," an exhibit that will be on display at the SLPL Central Library at 1301 Olive St.
Blues fans can donate or loan Blues treasures by bringing them to the Library's Administration at 1415 Olive St. they will be accepting donations Monday through Friday from Oct. 11 until Nov. 4 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Fans wanting to loan memorabilia will be asked to fill out a temporary custody form upon drop off, and will be called when the exhibit is over.
After the event, all the memorabilia will be archived as the SLPL becomes the official archival home of the Blues. The archive of memorabilia will join team items like printed materials, photos, programs, rosters, contracts and records, as well as team issued jerseys, pucks and sticks in the new archive.
