London (KSDK) -- NewsChannel 5's Rene Knott has been working hard to track down all of the local favorites while in London for the Olympics.
Thursday morning, he was able to catch up with famous sprinter Justin Gatlin.
Gatlin has been away from the games for four years, but ready to take on the competition in London.
Gatlin says during those four years, he spent his time helping with NFL football, working with high school kids, and volunteering for charities.
When asked about being at the Olympics, he says it is "something you will never forget."
Gatlin competes in the 100 meter dash in the days ahead.
