T.J. Oshie up for 'Best Moment of Winter Olympics'

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Blues winger T.J. Oshie is being considered for 'Best Moment of the Winter Olympics' by the US Olympic Team for his performance in the shootout against the Russian hockey team.

Oshie converted four of six shots on net during the shootout, propelling the men's US hockey team to a 3-2 victory in the preliminary round.

Oshie's shootout brilliance is matched up in a bracket against Bodie Miller becoming the oldest medalist in alpine skiing. The winner of that pairing will meet the winner of Noelle Pikus Pace's celebration, the men's slopestyle ski team sweeping the podium, and Team USA earning its first speedskating medal.

If Oshie gains enough votes to be named 'Best Moment,' he'll go to a best-of-the-best final four against the Best Male Olympian, Best Female Olympian, and Best Team of the Winter Games.
