Pitcher with down syndrome gets thrill of a lifetime

It was the perfect way to end the season.

Brayden Gero is a 12-year-old boy from Boston. Brayden, who has down syndrome, had spent the entire season as an outfielder on his little league team. Heading in to the last game of the season, he just one wish. Brayden wanted to pitch.

His wish came true.

Brayden came on to record the final out of the season. After the batter swung and missed for the final out, both teams rushed the mound to celebrate with Brayden.

It was a big week for him too, he also recorded his first hit of the season earlier in the week.
