ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK SPORTS) - Alec Abeln, a Jr. Billiken and all-star Offensive Center, signed with the University of Missouri today.

Abeln's first offer was his last, he signed with Mizzou almost as soon as the college expressed interest.

At 6-4, 275 pounds Abeln will be a strong asset to the newly indoctrinated SEC competitor.

Abeln competed in the IFAF World Championship tournament giving him a chance to compete against some of the world's top Offensive Centers, as a member of Team USA.

 He is ranked No. 18 on ESPN's list of the top 100 sought after Offensive Centers, and 25 in the state of Missouri.
