One of the best rivalries in the area was never a close game on Friday. DeSmet had little trouble with CBC as the Spartans defeated the Cadets 74-61.
Nolan Berry scored 26 points and added 11 rebounds for the Spartans.
This was the Spartans sixth straight win. CBC has now lost two in a row.
