St. Louis (KSDK) -- A new 'Rally Squirrel' t-shirt design will unveiled this week and available for purchase to celebrate the Cardinals trip to the World Series.
Cardinal Glennon Rally Squirrel merchandise will be available in select stores and restaurants by noon Tuesday; with a new design titled, 2011 Squirreled Serious.
Due to the incredible hype around the furry friend and the generous support of thousands of people in St. Louis, more than two-thirds of the costs for a new playground above the Bob Costas Cancer Center has been raised. The project will cost $300,000.
All merchandise will be sold at Helen Fitzgerald's, Syberg's on Dorsett and select Buffalo Wild Wings locations through the series. Shirts will also be available after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at select Schnucks stores. Proceeds will directly benefit the children at SSM Cardinal Glennon.
