St. Louis (KSDK) -- The St. Louis Cardinals purchased the contract of non-roster reliever Scott Linebrink and added him to the team's 40-man Major League roster.
Linebrink, 35, has played 12 seasons in the majors with San Francisco, Houston, San Diego, Milwaukee, Chicago White Sox and Atlanta. The righty has posted an 0-0 mark with 0.93 ERA in a team-high nine appearances (9.2 IP) this spring.
