Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Brandon Morrow tossed the second shutout of his
career, lifting the Toronto Blue Jays to a 5-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels
of Anaheim in the opener of four-game set.
Morrow (3-0) fanned eight and allowed just three hits for Toronto, which has
won five of its last six.
J.P. Arencibia smacked a three-run homer, while Kelly Johnson, Yunel
Escobar and Brett Lawrie each had two hits and a run scored.
Dan Haren (1-2) gave up five runs -- three earned -- on five hits and two
walks for the Angels, who had their three-game winning steak snapped.
