Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners recalled pitcher Shawn
Kelley from Triple-A Tacoma Saturday.
Kelley appeared in one game out of the bullpen for the Mariners this season,
allowing a home run in one-third of an inning.
The 28-year-old has an 8-6 record with a 3.75 ERA in 75 career games with
Seattle.
The Mariners optioned pitcher Erasmo Ramirez to Tacoma to make room on the
roster for Kelley.
Ramirez made his MLB debut this season and pitched to a 2.45 ERA in seven
relief appearances for Seattle, allowing three runs on nine hits and four
walks while striking out five through 11 innings.
