Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks optioned rookie
pitcher Trevor Bauer to Triple-A Reno Wednesday and recalled reliever Jonathan
Albaladejo from the same club.
Bauer, 21, made four starts for the Diamondbacks this season, going 1-2 with a
6.06 ERA. He lasted just three innings in Tuesday's loss to the Reds, allowing
four runs -- three earned -- on one hit.
Albaladejo, 29, has posted a 9.00 ERA in two appearances with Arizona this
year. He has gone 6-3 with a 4.28 earned run average over 65 career games with
the Nationals, Yankees and Diamondbacks.
