St. Louis (KSDK) - The St. Louis Cardinal are taking to Twitter Tuesday to talk directly to fans.

David Freese tweeted "We had a great year and time playing front of all the birds fans. Thanks for all the support Cardinal nation."

Matt Carpenter tweeted "It didn't finish like we had hoped but I love these guys. Proud to be a Cardinal. Thank you St. Louis fans we love you."

And Mayor Francis Slay is sporting a new profile picture, featuring the Giants' logo. He changed it on Tuesday along with the tweet "A bet's a bet."
