Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Ryan Raburn belted a pair of two-run homers to
lead a 17-hit outburst that enabled the Cleveland Indians to record a 13-10
win over the Cincinnati Reds in spring training action from Goodyear Ballpark.
Cord Phelps added a solo shot and Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-2 with two RBI
for the Indians.
Offseason acquisition Brett Myers drew the start for Cleveland and worked the
first two innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) on three hits to receive
the victory in his Tribe debut.
Cincinnati pounded out 18 hits in defeat and received a 4-for-4, two-RBI
performance out of Neftali Soto. Yoman Rodriguez delivered a two-run double
in the loss, with Miguel Olivo also collecting a pair of RBI for the Reds.
Reds starter Alfredo Simon was tagged for four runs (three earned) and five
hits while lasting just 1 2/3 innings.
