Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic signed first-round draft pick
Andrew Nicholson on Tuesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Nicholson was selected with the 19th overall pick of the NBA draft out of St.
Bonaventure University. The 22-year-old forward was named the Atlantic-10
Conference Player of the Year this past season as a senior, averaging
18.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in 32 games while guiding the
Bonnies to the NCAA Tournament.
The 6-foot-9, 250-pounder led St. Bonaventure in scoring, rebounding and
blocked shots for three consecutive seasons (2009-12).
