PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Iowa wide receiver Marvin McNutt with the first of their two picks in the sixth round of the NFL draft.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound McNutt had 82 catches for 1,315 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior. He gives the Eagles a sizable receiver that could make an impact inside the red zone.
Scouting reports say McNutt is strong, powerful and has above-average quickness. He's a solid route-runner and blocks well in the run game.
McNutt is a 2007 graduate of Hazelwood Central High School.
