Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed
quarterback Jordan Palmer and waived wide receiver Jarrett Dillard.
Palmer, the younger brother of Oakland quarterback Carson, spent four seasons
as a backup in Cincinnati and will join a depth chart in Jacksonville that
features Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne.
Dillard started five games and appeared in nine others last season for the
Jaguars, catching 29 passes for 292 yards with a touchdown.
The Jaguars also waived quarterback Dan LeFevour, safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah,
receivers Nelson Rosario and Jarrett Boykin and defensive end Frank Trotter,
while signing fullback Naufahu Tahi, defensive tackle Odrick Ray, receivers
Mike Brown and Chris Forcier, linebacker Donovan Richard and defensive back
