St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -- The Rams and St. Louis Public Schools are working together on a new NFL program that encourages physical education in schools.

Rams QB Sam Bradford, Rams Cheerleaders, SLPS Superintendent Kelvin Adams, and others helped kick off "Keep Gym in School" Tuesday at Lyon at Blow K-8 School.

The event started with a pep rally celebrating Lyon/Blow's new P.E. equipment and facilities funded by a "Keep Gym in School" grant.

After the rally, Bradford lead students through a mini-camp, including fitness tests and football inspired drills.

More than 45 middle schools nationwide are to receive a "Keep Gym in School" P.E. revamp.
