Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles continued to
reshape their defensive corps on Thursday, singing linebacker Connor Barwin to
a six-year deal.
The 26-year-old totaled 44 tackles and three sacks in 16 games for the Houston
Texans a season ago.
In four years with the franchise, the Cincinnati product and Michigan native
has compiled 109 tackles and 19 sacks -- second on the franchise list -- in 49
appearances.
Earlier in the day, the Birds announced the signings of cornerback Cary
Williams and safety Kenny Phillips.
