St. Louis (KSDK) -- The NHL could announce the closing of the sale of the St. Louis Blues as early as Wednesday, according to The Globe and Mail.
The NHL's board of governors is expected to approve a sale to local businessman Tom Stillman.
The formal announcement could happen later this week.
The St. Louis Blues are back after being swept by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Players will return to the practice facility in Hazelwood Tuesday to clean out their lockers.
