Redskins running back ditches journalist for Chick-Fil-A breakfast

KSDK – There are good excuses…and then there are great excuses! Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris' reason for not talking with the Washington Times' Brian McNally certainly falls under the latter category.

When McNally approached him on Monday morning to talk about Mike Shanahan getting canned, Morris backed out, claiming that he needed to leave in order to get to Chick-Fil-A before they stopped serving breakfast.

The Chick-Fil-A near Redskins Park stops serving breakfast at 10:30 a.m. on weekdays, For the Win reports. McNally's tweet came at 10:25 a.m. There's no word yet as to whether he got his fix of chicken and biscuit goodness in time or not.
