(KSDK) – After having his first album top the Billboard charts, Weird Al Yankovic is experiencing another first.

Fans have begun a petition to get the hit parody maker as the headliner for Super Bowl XLIX halftime show.

The Change.org petition has already garnered more than 14,000 supporters with 1,000 more needed.

Weird Al's latest alubm, Mandatory Fun, included tracks such as "Foil," which is a parody of Lorde's "Royals" and "Word Crimes," which parodies Robin Thicke's hit "Blurred Lines."
