(NBC) - The summer long talent search known as "America's Got Talent" begins anew tonight on NBC.
Once again, a million dollars is up for grabs for the act that catches the fancy of the judges and viewers.
"I just want something unique, something different, something that I want to see more of," says judge Heidi Klum.
Hundreds of acts, some laughable, many laudable, auditioned for spots in "America's Got Talent" boot camp.
The top 48 of those acts advance to the live shows in late July.
Along with the addition of the "boot camp" week in New York, the show is also adding a "golden buzzer" this season.
Each judge can use it one time during the season to override the other judges or break a tie and push an act through to the next round.
