Baby animals are a sign of spring. To celebrate their arrival at Purina Farms you're invited to their 2013 Springtime Village.

"Spring is right around the corner and that's when everything comes to life," said Kaite Flamm, Purina Farms.

Purina trainers have already socialized the little ones so they're ready for their meet and greets.

"We have little piglets and bunnies and chicks and we also have two special little lambs this year, explained Flamm.

You'll also have the chance to name one of the lambs.

Visitors can play in the hay loft where they'll find rope swings and a corn play trough. You can get your picture taken with Peter Cottontail and watch the Purina Canine Performance Team in action. There will be face painting, puppet shows and you can try finding the great golden egg where $100 is hiding.

Admission is free, but you are required to make a reservation by calling 314-982-3232. Springtime Village is open March 13-30. For more information head to
