250 years of St. Louis at the History Museum

As St. Louis celebrates its 250th birthday, one of the cities great landmarks is getting in on the fun.

"This is our new "250 in 250" exhibit. We showcase all of St. Louis history through the stories of 50 people, 50 places, 50 images, 50 moments and 50 objects," explained Jody Sowell, Missouri History Museum curator.

The Missouri History Museum is celebrating the cities milestone with a free exhibit staring St. Louis

"This is really about starting a conversation with St. Louisian's almost like a big family reunion," said Sowell.

"250 in 250" is on display at the Missouri History Museum through February 2015. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The museum is hosting plays, lectures, workshops and more throughout the year to coincide with the exhibit. For more info head to www.mohistory.org
