SHOW ME ST. LOUIS- A popular St. Louis family attraction is celebrating a major milestone. Grant's Farm is marking its 60th anniversary. 25 million visitors have been to the farm since opening to the public and that's why this year Grant's Farm is adding two new attractions for visitors to check out.
"We love to bring new things to Grant's Farm because we want to draw new visitors every year and we want to give people a reason to come back," said Amy Holthaus, Gran'ts Farm.
You can now jump on a paddle boat on Mirror Lake. This is the first time Grant's Farm guests have an option to get on the water and it's an area of the farm you might not have seen before. Up to three people can fit on a paddle boat and it costs $7 for a 30 minute ride.
Another new attraction debuting at Grant's Farm this year is the parakeet feeding area. This is a little noisier than the paddle boat rides, but kids have the chance to feed the birds with a stick full of bird seed and peanut butter. It costs $1 a stick and that covers the price to get inside.
