SHOW ME ST. LOUIS- If you don't have your own garden you're in luck since Eckert's is sharing.

"People are not growing vegetable gardens as much as grandma did 30, 40, 50 years ago," said Chris Eckert, Eckert's.

You might have tasted produce from Eckert's Country Store, but this is the first time you can head out to their vegetable garden to pick your own. They've opened the field to the public since you can't pick your own peaches this year due to a shortage (you can still get peaches in Eckert's Country Store).

"We thought what a great opportunity since we have so many families that come to Eckert's to pick apples, peaches, why not expand that experience with a vegetable garden," explained Eckert.
