ST. LOUIS - Kid Smart is asking for a Push for Pencils this month. They're collecting school supplies for teachers who then get supplies in the hands of 90,000 children in the St. Louis area who might not get them otherwise.

"In the beginning I bought all my school supplies myself and I would spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars and this definitely does help," said Wendy Blanton, eighth grade teacher.

A Push for Pencils helps benefit Kid Smart. For a list of locations where you can drop off school supplies go to their website. There you can also find out how to get discounted admission to Six Flags if you donate.
