ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - St. Louis's first-ever "Kitty Cafe" takes place Thursday night.
It's based on a popular idea out of Japan where people go to a special café to interact with cats.
Thursday's café is a chance for people in St. Louis to do the same thing. People will not only meet other cat lovers, but can also help out a good cause.
Elizabeth Frick, founder and executive director of Tenth Life Cats said, "They can come and enjoy coffee and tea and a little bit of time with cats. We're hoping everyone will come and enjoy themselves and really get to know some of the cats we have up for adoption."
