Sara Dayley joined KSDK in March of 2010 as a reporter and anchor and is happy to be right at home in St Louis. She also serves as the "In Game" host for the St. Louis Rams. Prior to working at KSDK, she was involved with motorsports, traveling across the United States and Canada as a pit reporter for Monster Jam, Nitro Jam, IHRA Drag Racing and Supercross. Dayley also hosted two seasons of Lucas Oil on the Edge and The ADRL Series, two magazine style motorsport shows that were filmed in the Chicago Area. Before television, Sara was involved on the radio side of sports. Dayley was a Sportscenter Update Anchor at the local ESPN Radio affiliate WXOS in St. Louis.
Dayley has a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Tampa and while at college, interned at WLFA, the local NBC affiliate. While working with the Sports Department, she covered the 2002 Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the 2003-2004 Stanley Cup Champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Tampa Rays, as well as high school football.
Sara is the daughter of Ken Dayley, former MLB Pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays & Atlanta Braves. She is the oldest of five siblings and, growing up in St. Louis, she graduated from Marquette High School in Chesterfield where she was a Cheerleader and Diver on the 2000 Missouri State High School Swim & Diving Championship Team. She enjoys outdoor activities with her young son, spending time with her family and Golden Retriever Handro, and watching or attending a variety of sporting events.
