Casey Nolen started his broadcasting career with a job he says he didn't deserve. He walked into KOMU, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri, with no real plans of making a career in news and no idea how much he didn't know about the craft. He started working as a photographer for the station. That led to adventures on the Gulf Coast at WPMI in Mobile, Alabama and in the Pacific Northwest at KGW in Portland, Oregon. In 2007, the Southeast Missouri native came "home" to St. Louis. Since then, KSDK has sent him on assignments as far as Haiti after the 2010 earthquake and London for the 2012 Olympics. Casey's work has earned him a Mid-America EMMY and the Associated Press named him the "Best Reporter" for the Chicago/St. Louis markets.
