KSDK – Hungover? It might be because you're smarter than average.
That's according to a Finish study, which gathered data on 3,000 fraternal and identical twins, and found that the sibling who drank more tended to be smarter, according to the New Republic.
Not only that, but the sibling who drank more also had more friends. The authors say that intelligence is correlated with curiosity and a desire for new experiences…and that's where alcohol comes in.
What do smart people drink? According to a Danish study, people with high IQs tend to prefer wine over beer or liquor, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
