ST. LOUIS – Kellie White, a Valley Park resident, took home the GE Imagination at Work award at the 46th annual Pillsbury Bake-Off competition in Las Vegas last month.

White stopped by our kitchen in October to make her honey sesame seed bagels with whipped blackberry butter, which got her to the bake-off finals.

A few years ago White made it to the final four with zesty lime-fish tacos.

Goedeker's Home Life blog recently interviewed her about the competition. She told them her past experience as a finalist helped her feel at ease.

White also says it was nice to reconnect with friends she has made over the years participating in the bake-off.
