Kathleen Turner is ready to bury the Body Heatbabe references — and wants everyone else to, too.
"I don't look like I did 30 years ago. Get over it!" Turner told Closer Weekly. (The now-classic Body Heat came out in 1981.) "I'm going to be 60 next year. Sixty! And even I say to myself, 'Okay, we can't pretend anymore here.' "
Even if fans keep comparing her to her Romancing the Stone days. "One thing I get really tired of is people coming up to me and saying, (in a patronizing voice) 'Oh, you look gooooood!' One day I got so fed up I said, 'I thank you. And I really wish I met you before so I could say the same for you.' "
Turner's advice? "You have to get to that place as a woman where you know your worth isn't dependent on (looks)."
