A Los Angeles news anchor is no doubt feeling the burn after mistaking Samuel L. Jackson for Laurence Fishburne - while interviewing Jackson on live TV!
Jackson was by all accounts, displeased.
It was all going fine Monday morning as Jackson gave an interview to KTLA to promote his new movie RoboCop. However, things took a turn for the worse when entertainment anchor Sam Rubin decided to ask Jackson about his new Super Bowl commercial, reports TMZ.
The only problem being that Jackson didn't do a Super Bowl commercial this year -- but Laurence Fishburne did. Oops.
"See, you're as crazy as the people on Twitter," says Jackson, shaking a pointed finger at the camera. "I'm not Laurence Fishburne!"
Rubin tries his hardest to recover from the gaffe and apologized profusely, but Jackson was NOT having it.
"We don't all look alike!" Jackson admonished. He gave Rubin quite a hard time, but managed to crack a smile and a few laughs. When Rubin tried to turn the conversation back to the movie, Jackson responded, "Oh, hell NO! Really?!"
