ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The Twitter campaign to get Fort Zumwalt South Junior Andrew Honerkamp on SportsCenter is continuing to grow.

His appearance on NewsChannel 5 on Monday inspired 1,500 tweets – and over the past seven days, the hashtag #AndrewOnSportsCenter has inspired 9,200 tweets.

Honerkamp was born with cerebral palsy, and dreams of becoming a sportscaster. To make that dream a reality, his classmates have formed a social media movement to get him on ESPN.

What began as simply a movement at his school as gone national, with tweets coming from Florida and California…not to mention rival schools.
